What guides this work
This journal is shaped by a few simple principles:
Slow over scale
Making things well, matters more than making lots of things.
Process over outcome
The learning is often more valuable than the finished object.
Care over consumption
Resources, tools, time, and energy are finite. They deserve respect.
Honesty over polish
Messy thinking is allowed here. So are unfinished ideas.
People over platforms
This exists outside the noise of algorithms and trends.
Supporting other makers
From time to time I’ll share the work of other makers, writers, and craftspeople whose values align with this way of working. Not sponsored. Not promoted. Just noticed.
If you make things thoughtfully and quietly, you’re already doing enough.
